The droplets in the pneumatic system are formed when the spray liquid is torn off a shear plate by a high-speed air stream. As regards the hydro-pneumatic system, the pressure and the size of the nozzle determine the volume and the droplet size.

Pneumatic spouts (left picture)

  • 1 - 4 atomizers or Paraflow tubes with 6 atomizers.  
  • Low volume application technique.  
  • Calibration by means of a restrictor plate.  
  • The Pneumatic spout system features shear plates where it is the air speed that determines the droplet size. 
  • Application volumes up to 170 l/Ha
  • Working pressure up to 4 bar. 
  • Droplet sizes are fine to medium


Hydropneumatic spouts (right picture)

  • 3 or 5 ceramic nozzles situated in the air stream.  
  • Allows applications up to 800 l/Ha.  
  • Working pressure up to 10 bar.  
  • Droplet sizes are medium to coarse, depending on the nozzle size.

IRIS 2 is the multiple award winning spraying system with these features

  • Polyethylene drop legs which are 100 % knock proof.  
  • Operator’s safety is part of the design, the air slot is quickly and easily adjusted towards the target. 
  • The IRIS application system allows for individual air adjustment as each outlet permits steep angling or even closing of the air supply, if necessary. 
  • The 1500 mm drop leg has an integrated TWIN effect as the four adjustable air outlets are placed at an angle of 10º towards the nozzles



IRIS 2 is available on the B11, B50 and B51 booms

  • B50 & B51 come in Y and Z hydraulic versions

The E20 is an exceptionally versatile boom developed specially for vineyards with vines grown in different conditions: Row spacing, canopy pruning, etc. It can be adjusted to spray 2 or 3 rows, depending on the growth and density of the vegetation.

  • The two & half row E20 boom provides for 1.2 meters of row width extension on both the left and right booms.

     
  • Fully hydraulic: all boom movements are managed directly from the cabin: width adjustment, lift functions and tilting of boom ends

     
  • Two rows are enveloped and sprayed entirely or the flip over boom is orientated towards the third row side. 

     
  • The outer nozzle can be hydraulically positioned for more precision application.

     
  • A preferred boom in vine yards where operators search for the benefit from the flip over boom when obstacles are encountered in the row.

The turbine air kits are our secret to give you first class application. Designed by aerodynamic specialists, the air kits have better air distribution, a lower noise level and lower power consumption.

The ARROW and MERCURY sprayers can be adapted to all types of plantation systems, thanks to HARDI’s full range of air kits. The fans and turbines are made of steel and aluminium and incorporate a centrifugal clutch (patented) that assures minimum wear to the sprayer and to the tractor.

With 5 turbine kits to choose from (2 of the kits are only for the IRIS system),  air volume ranges from 10000 m3 air/h up to 27000 m3 air/h.

Stainless steel deflector that divides the air from the blower and directs it towards both sides. As the height of the air stream is controllable by means of the adjustable deflector wings, the DUO deflectors are especially suitable for crops planted in hedgerow such as vine, apples, olives, etc.

The DUO deflectors are available in two versions (T & V): One for vine and bushes and another for hedgerow plantations.

They are available with the SF65 & SF85 Axial blowers.
